Summer Bridge Program

In addition to the Summer Academy, we offer the Summer Residential Bridge Program for recent Upward Bound high school graduates. These scholars take college-level elective courses through Clark Atlanta University, which are transferable to the institution they plan to attend in the fall, giving them an early advantage in their higher education journey.

The CAU TRIO Upward Bound Summer Academy offers a comprehensive 6-week residential experience on the campus of Clark Atlanta University. During this time, rising 9th through 12th-grade scholars engage in core academic courses specifically designed to prepare them for the upcoming school year. In addition to their coursework, scholars participate in Fun Fridays, which feature weekly college tours, providing valuable exposure to various post-secondary institutions. Students reside on campus from Sunday to Friday, returning home each Friday afternoon and rejoining the program on Sunday evenings.
